Morris, Smith and O'Dell are KOAS in the list of names I typed out for you two days ago
    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?12677-430908-Unaccounted-airmen-8-9-1943

T E U Lister is on Ciorenchester district, names on teh same page are:
    BAR Michel 20 Cirencester 6a 455
    BARNSLEY Lucy E 79 Cirencester 6a 455
    Bye Arthur 29 Cirencester 6a 455
    Lister Thomas E U 29 Cirencester 6a 455
    SMITH William L 21 Cirencester 6a 455

That would account for Smith, would the other two deaths be French or Nelgian? Bar and Bye?

No sign of L V Young however in FLight without manuall searching

    Hi Henk,

    The F1180 for Oxford DF202

    Gives Smith W L W/O 1174421
    Lister T E U F/O 7021

and the third name is clear but the service number is not.

    Bar Sgt 31?35

From the registration details this will be
    BAR Michel 20 Cirencester 6a 455

From Aviateurs de la Liberte his service number is given as 31335 but date of death is incorrect as 10th Oct 1943.

    Regards
    Ross

    Hi Henk

    F1180
Proctor III - R7531 - 2 RS - flew into ground Pippingford Park, 2 miles N of Nutley, Sussex.

Sgt Morris confirmed as pilot and 1 other killed so would link to O'Dell from registration details.

    Regards
    Ross

    Ross,
Refer to your msg # 7:
    Aircraft serial was DF262.
BAR was in my files but with no known a/c serial. Indeed Lafont has him for 10.10.43.
Have to check other two names involved as they are in my files as:
W/O (Pilot) William LLOYD SMITH and F/O Thomas E. UDNY LISTER.
    Regards,
    Henk.
