    Hello

Sgt Selwyn JACKSON - 535121 - the Newcastle Journal of August 26th 1942 reported on the inquest into his death:

    Clerk Not Poisoned
Recording a verdict of "died from inhibition following a severe attack of coughing and retching," at a South Shields inquest yesterday on Sergt. Selwyn Jackson (24), of Albion Houses, Willington, and R.A.F. clerk, the Coroner (Mr. W. M. Patterson) said highly skilled examinations of certain of the organs eliminated an question of food poisoning.
Jackson collapsed and died at his billet in South Shields on July 28.

    Regards

    Simon
