    Hi,

I would recommend that you post your query in the air section of the Great War forum. Lots of knowledgeable folk there who may be able to assist.

Possibly of interest; Corkery's Canadian service record is online
    https://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/...&id=B2000-S040
His RNAS service record is previewable on TNA, but contains very little
    https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ils/r/C9753424
Interestingly, the Canadian Virtual War Memorial has a snippet from the Renfrew Mercury for 06 Sep 18.

If you have a Find My Past account, you can find Pettit and Corkery's RAF service records (I think)
    https://search.findmypast.co.uk/sear...ords-1912-1939

This post on the Great War forum appears to give a comprehensive overview of Pettit and Corkery's loss
    https://www.greatwarforum.org/topic/...omment=2666211

It puts them in DH4 D1761 of 224 Squadron
