    Hello to all ,

    JB 421 of 49 Squadron exploded in the air , scattered debris found , the wing tips of one wing is now in a private museum (hope so), debris of engine in woods ...crew discovered dispersed .....
    JB612 exploded at the impact of the crash, a propeller is fitted as a memorial near the crash site in a private land , one member of the crew found few days later under debris of the bomber ....
    the two crews are buried at St Doulchard Cemetery ....

    Souesmes, the village where the Lancaster crashed, is just south of the target the Salbris ammunition dump .
