    Default S/Ldr Freeman

    Hi,

A way from my files for a couple of days. trying to establish the identity of a S/Ldr Freeman who was posted to No.1651 CU on April 21st 1942.

I think he may have been posted from either 7, XV or 149 Squadron. Any help appreciated.

    Steve,

Possibly 39726 S/Ldr Max Ingram Freeman. Lost on No. 90 Squadron 28 September 1943.

The service file of the RCAF W/Op, R115666 Sgt William Joseph Hoar, has Hoar at No. 1651 from 3 July - 29 July 1943.

The RNZAF member, NZ42310 F/Sgt Victor James Sharp, RNZAF was at No. 1651 HCU the same dates as Sgt Hoar. Both had also attended No. 26 OTU.

    Regards,

    Dave
