Default Christian names needed for WAG Sgt J.C. Courtis. 612 Sqn

    Hi All,

Could anyone please provide me with Christian names for Sgt J.C. Courtis He was serving as a WAG 1942/43 with 612 Sqn at Wick.

Sorry I don`t have a service number but he flew a number of patrols with P/O Harold Sherwood and crew in Whitleys.

    Regards
    Dave.

I checked AIR 78-38-2 for you but there doesnt seem to be a man of that name with initials J C. There is a CJ.
How certain are you of that spelling ?
    cheers Pete

Same problem. Not found him in any of the "usual places"!! Like you, Pete, I suspect the spelling. And - as I flog my way relentlessly through the ETO POWs - he' not the only one!!

I found in one part of the ORB the clerk used Sgt J. Courtis while in another part it is Sgt J.C. Courtis.

What were the names you found for C.J. Courtis? Is there service number also for C.J. Courtis?

    Regards
    Dave
