The Allan Ladd film "Paratrooper" has some nice shots of WW2 aircraft.
However they puzzle me.
Two(at least ) Wellington's Squadron codes "MH".
Dakota aircraft,
One -serial number - 43-16048 on tail, and HJ252 on fuselage side.
Aircraft was not camouflaged and had star and bar with red center bar on fuselage and late red/white/blue RAF roundel on upper starboard wing. Aircraft in sqdn letter "E".
Second Dakota Civil markings but RAF serial number TG602.
On the same base (in the film) a natural metal Beaufighter with black and yellow underside.
Any info known on the true details of these aircraft .
