    Hello all

    I am trying to find out more about 909 Wing in Burma 1944-5, but there seems to be scant info out there. Anything and everything would be useful, including which squadrons were in the Wing!

    RAF Wing HQ Palel was formed on 1 October 1944 by redesignating No 189 (Tactical) Wing in No 221 Group and on 1 December was redesignated No 909 (Tactical) Wing and disbanded on 30 September 1945 to form AHQ Siam. The tables below show its various locations and the units assigned to it.
