    JACOBS, Gordon William Egbert - Cpl - 519291 - the Lynn Advertiser of June 7th 1940 reported the inquest into his death. He had been riding his motorcycle at Pensthorpe, near Fakenham, the previous Friday night when he hit an unlit obstacle in the road. He was dead by the time a doctor arrived on the scene. His pillion, L.A.C. Funnell, suffered a borken leg. A verdict of 'Accidental death' was returned.

    SWORD, Patrick Graham Elliot - was killed when HMS Bideford was attacked by an enemy aircraft

    Dini - He was killed whilst flying Hurricane I, L2117 of No 605 Sqn, which made a forced landing near Folkstone.

    Atkinson died at the Unit Sick Quarters of 1 Engineering School at Ascot Vale, Melbourne, where he was training as a Fitter II(E), at 1435hrs on 31 May 40. A post-mortem concluded that the cause of death was coronary disease of the heart and myocardial degeneration
