    Hi Henk,

If it is any use to you this is a summary of the the entry for 14 SFTS ORB on the 8th May 1941.

    Oxford W6636
83993 F/O Renford Percy Davey was the instructor aboard the aircaft which was on a training flight over the Sibson Relief Landing Ground. As the aircraft made its approach an unidentified enemy aircraft joined the circuit and made an attack. The Pupil Pilot, LAC Clarke, was wounded in the arm whilst F/O Davey was wounded in the abdomen. He was transfered to Peterborough Hospital where he died the following day from his wounds.

John W H Pateman was registered in Bristol district, Gloucestershire. Some problem with file indexing made me miss this last time.
Sorry, posted this then realised Dick gave us this last year.

    Cannot find Jordan in Scotland.

    Finally found Perkins:
PREVIOUSLY REPORTED WOUNDED OR INJURED ON ACTIVE SERVICE, NOW REPORTED DIED OF WOUNDS OR INJURIES RECEIVED ON ACTIVE SERVICE.—
    Sgt. J. R. Perkins. - Got scanned as J E Perkins

I gave wrong Status for Tavener last year, he is LAC F Tavener KOAS. I've amended my previous post.

Henk, no need to acknowledge this posting, unless you have further questions.

Hello, I know this post is quite old now but I'm researching my local memorial and one name has led me to this post.

William Jack Wareham AC2 1354994, Killed on Active Service 8/5/41 Registered at Peterborough, Huntingdonshire ( Northamptonshire).

I was wondering what attack the last post by Tony H was referring to?

    Regards
