    Default Post War Airmen for Malcolm

    John Ross McMaster 4031006 , an ambulance driver attached to RAF Old Sarum, was found dead in bed. An investigation discovered puncture wounds on his body and a WAAF declared he had told her he had taken morphine which was discovered to have been stolen from the units ambulances

    You're dead right Malcolm ! That's because I seemed tohave written a post war death down in my WW2 notes , he died after 1947 !!

    Gawd ! Post War as well ! I never noted many of those but I have some .

    I’d put 1949 down as 1943 in my illiterate scribbling in this case !

    Hinchcliffe 3 October 1949 died of heart attack on cross country run

    Beaney 25 december 1948 , vehicle accident at Osmaston Lane, Ashbourne. Andrew Kelly , RAF, driver, sentenced to 12 months for manslaughter
