Default Sunderland crash of Sept 3, 1943...and the daring air-sea rescue

My father, Arthur Walter Thomas Joyce, a sergeant in the RCAF at the time, was one of 12 on board an RCAF 422 Squadron Sunderland when it crashed in the Bay of Biscay on Sept 3, 1943. They spent 3 1/2 days in two dinghies before being rescued by an RAF Sunderland. I produced a video in memory of the crew and released it today on YouTube. It is not monetized. Don

Thank you for sharing that nice tribute to your father and his crew. I have some more information on the crew that rescued him, and some other stuff you may be interested in. I will send you an email
