"PRENTON AIRCRAFTMAN KILLED
A prominent member of the choir of Brunswick Methodist Church, Birkenhead, Aircraftman Thomas Henry Williams, of Lang Lea, Woodchurch-road Prenton, has been killed in a flying accident. His father, Mr. J. H. Williams, is organist at the church. Aircraftman Williams was an old boy of Birenhead Institute."
Being a little bit curious as to Williams being killed in an Avro 504N, essentially a WW1 aircraft, a little digging finds the incident has been covered previously by the forum. The following adds a little more to the story.
