I am leaving this here by his name is a bit complicated - he was born John Harold Chadwick Palmer born 19th March 1917

However his father also Harold Chadwick Palmer died 1918 - so that is maybe when he became Harold Chadwick Palmer

His mother remarried and became Beatrice Cooke Palmer MacGregor

At school he was Harold McGregor Palmer but really should have been Harold MacGregor Palmer - so taking stepfathers name as middle name

His probate say Harold Chadwick Palmer

The school has him as Joscelyn Tudor Albert Steele - But probate including Will has Joscelyn Albert Tudor Steele (which he signed ) so will go with Joscelyn Albert Tudor Steele
