P/O Clifford H. FULLER - 44713 - 219 Sqn (Tangmere, Sussex), and
AC2 John P. LEONARD - 1283318 - 222 Sqn (Coltishall, Norfolk).
Proposed aircraft losses for this day:
Hurricane X - P5171 - 56 OTU - crashed in forced landing near Swaffham, Norfolk).
Magister I - L6909 - 5 EFTS - crashed on take-off Calton, Staffordshire.
Magister I - R1820 - 24 EFTS - flew into ground Shillington, Bedfordshire.
Tiger Moth II - R5119 - 6 MU - crashed in forced landing off River Nith, Solway Firth.
Botha I - W5027 - 8 BGS - crashed on take-off Evanton, Ross & Cromarty.

There is mention of the 6 MU accident in the 10 AOS ORB,
May 25th 1941, At 0230 hours, Flying Officer Smythe and Flying Officer Meharey of 15 EFTS were collected by ambulance from Dumfries, having swum ashore at Caerlaverock from a Tiger Moth aircraft R5119, which crashed in the Solway Firth off the mouth of the R. Nith and sank.
There was no mention of the accidet in the 15 EFTS ORB.
The 5 EFTS accident was also recorded on the 25th.
May 25th 1941, B Flight, LAC Heard crashed near forced landing field into tree, badly injured, expected to recover.

Meanwhile also checking all CWGC-registers for UK, N.Ireland and Irish Republic compared to my 'unaccounted list' and found another airman died/killed 24-5-1941. Looking for his place of death registration:
AC2 Frederick CHARLTON - 911882.
