Checking CWGC-registers with database again found an airman's name sofar missing in my files. What was the place of death registration for Sgt (Pilot) John E.F. DOBBS - 785012, and could there be a match with one of the in #1 message of this thread mentioned aircraft losses.
Regards and thanks for your help.
Henk.

there is a John Dobbs (no other initials) aged 19, listed in 'Service and War Returns' in Scotland. This particular listing is not available to view online. (but I have seen others online) Cost £10 to order a paper copy.

Hi Henk
John E F Dobbs didn't come up on the England and Wales register and I looked on the next Qtr as well. Cwgc has no Age but he could be the one found by Dave W in Scotland

What was the place of death registration for:
LAC (Pilot) Desmond W. KATES - 1376880.

Kates DOAS per Flight magazine. Can't see him in registers for UK Wales or Scotland,
Likely he was born in Q4 of 1912, registered born in Hampstead District. Perhaps he died whiel stationed in Northern Ireland or similar.
John E F Dobbs born Q1 1919 registered in Edmonton district.
