    Default Coastal command Beaufort squadron 17 may 1942 ?

    Good morning !
    a heavy heatwave is numbing us all....continue to work on Coastal Command remembrance.


    On May 17, 1942, in the late afternoon, a Bristol Beaufort 's detachment carried out an operation towards Norway, in the Egersund Fjord sector.
    During the mission, the 235 (Beaufighter) sq. lost a crew (Sabadini/Taylor - LA-A/R2269)
    would it be possible to know more about the objective of this Coastal Command mission as well as the Beaufort squadron number?
