    Hi,

    Can anyone ID this chap, and what/when and where he was awarded the DFC!

    "Godfrey Norman Sellers, DFC. (77663). A&SD Branch. Served Great War in France from April 1915, Corporal until commissioned in West Yorks Regt 25 Apr 1917, transferred to Royal Air Force). Awarded the DFC for a night aerial recce operation in terrible weather (LG 7 Aug 1918). Recommissioned for wartime service and retired due to ill health in July 1944. (born March 1896 Yorkshire – died 10 May 1955 Bradford)."

    DFC: LG: 03/08/1918 - p.9205 (Carter & Carter/Vol.II/p.1494).
