Hello everyone

I came across this pilot mentioned in the book 'Pilgrimages of Grace' by A. A. B. Todd about R.A.F. Croft in County Durham. He's described as 'an experienced Spitfire pilot' and I wondered if anyone knew anything about his flying career?
