RAFVR Pilot's Block

Hello All,
I’m slowly populating the RAFVR Pilots number block. (740000-759999, 759361, 19362, RAFVR Pilots, Jan-37-Jan-40(?)). The below is from http://www.bbm.org.uk/airmen/Frost.htm

Jack Lynch Frost was born on 15th March 1908. [in Rochford]
On 13th April 1935 he married Elsie Maud Jiggins at Prittlewell, Essex.
He joined the RAFVR in February 1939 as an Airman u/t WOp/AG. Called up on 1st September 1939, he completed his gunnery training and was serving with 600 Squadron at Northolt by June 1940. [Would he first have been tested as a Pilot? This Number Block was specifically for Pilots?]
Commissioned in August 1940, Frost made his last flight with 600 Squadron on 28th September, Hornchurch to Redhill.
He transferred to the Administrative Branch on 24th May 1941.
On 23rd January 1942 Frost was dismissed from the RAF by sentence of a General Court Martial, the cause is not known. [does anyone know what he was Court Martialled for?]
Frost died on 20th December 2005 in Lincolnshire. [not able to find where]

Fg Off (A/Flt Lt) J. L. Frost was subject to CM on 4 Dec 41 at RAF Oulton. It appears he was dismissed from the service for striking a sergeant. He was found not guilt of a section 40 offence (Conduct to prejudice of discipline).

VMT that. It surprised me!
Frost had become a Scribbly on the previous 24 May 41, so I had expected such a serious sentence to be connected with something along the lines of selling RAF stores/rations/petrol, etc, etc, on the Black Market!! The fact that he was found not guilty of the good old Sect 40 (Conduct prejudicial, etc) would seem (to my devious mind!!!) to indicate that there were aggravating matters (domestic issues?) of which were are not aware? Interesting case!
Frost was in a number of recruits originally joining the RAFVR Pilots Block as u/t WOp/AG rather than having volunteered to be a Pilot, but having got “washed out” of Pilot training at a very early stage - was offered an alternative ‘trade’ instead?

If 'Jack Frost' was born in 1908 - his age alone would probably have counted against him for pilot training,whether it precluded him from training or he was washed out remains to be seen but there was usually an age 'ceiling' for pilot training.

I know the RAFVR u/t pilot recruitment age limits started out as 18 - 25,but at some stage became 18-30.
Whether the relaxation of the age limit was done after the Munich crisis or at outbreak of war I do not know.
+ of course many people lied about their age (either way :) ) to join the forces.
