Hi all
I would be most grateful if anyone can assist with some detail on a casualty who was the relative of a friend. There is little known about him in detail but is thought to have been an Air Gunner.
According to CWGC the only info we have at the mo, he was a member of 582 Squadron stationed at Little Staughton. Sadly there is no contact to any Squadron Association who might be able to assist in revealing perhaps his cause of death and subsequent internment in Brookwood Military Cemetery.
Any information much appreciated
Royton.

Hi Royton,
He was a Ground Crew on Lancaster PB512, crashed on training (Fighter affiliation exercise). You can find the details in the Service File of the Australian member of the crew, C.J. Mitchell.
