The Albacore cannot be correct as it was still serving with 826 Sqdn FAA at Ford in April 1941( See FAA Aircraft 1939 - 1945).
However, Blenheim K7083 which was with 54 OTU in December 1940 was involved in an accident and destroyed by fire on the 22nd February 1941 would seem more likely ?
This forum's database has the Albacore L7083 ?
See also a recent question on the TOCH forum about L7083.

    Alex,
The key clue is that the casualty file list the type as Blenheim: https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C16689299
Yorkshire Aircraft confirms the details: https://www.yorkshire-aircraft.co.uk...k41/k7083.html
54 OTU was based at Church Fenton at the time.
I have amended our database accordingly: https://www.rafcommands.com/database...php?uniq=K7083
