I think Caborne might be Osborne (House) on the Isle Of Wight (Ex Queen Victoria's residence). A section of the house was used as a convalescence home for officers at this time ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osborne_House). ?? looks like The Abbey Cottage.

sarcoma not carcinoma of ??? tissue. Sarcoma is a rare type of malignant tumor that develops in bone and connective tissues (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/soft-tissue-sarcoma/)
