Default 1941 UNITED KINGDOM, the partially accounted

I feel the following should be potentially classed as partially accounted in that there is some information, but not all regarding thier loss. I suggest we Mark these Airmen with a yellow band

    1) Frank Walter Cole 1259937 attached to RAF Hereford. 01-01-1941 died in RAF Hospital Hereford following a " series of operations " taken from British Newspaper Archive death registered Hereford 6a 1540

There is no RAF record for him and There is no ORB extant for RAF Hereford. The purchase of a death certificate is the only way to fully resolve his case

    2) Henry Bruce Gilbert Knight 66036 attached to 33 MU 1941-05-01

His RAF record states that he died in Forbes Fraser hospital in Bath. It gives no further details. There is no cause of death currently trying available. This hospital was a private institution and appears not to have had its records deposited with either the Bath or the Somerset/Avon Archives, although I have a suspicion they MAY be deposited with the Bath Royal hospita archives as the hospital was absorbed into the NHS in 1948. The ORB for 33 MU AIR29/683 has no mention of him. I feel he should be placed into the partially accounted category

    3) Alfred Howell 846935 1941-05-10 He has no RAF record and is a post discharge death. He is registered in Romford 4a 876

The only way to resolve his case appears to be via the purchase of a death certificate. He should be replaced on the unaccounted list

    4) John Harold Bragger 1325529 1941-05-28 He has no RAF record and is presumed to be a post discharge death. The database has a note saying : Died in St Chad's hospital Birmingham. No cause is given. He is registered in Birmingham 6d 337

This was a private nursing home run by Smethwich corporation and no records for it appear to have been deposited in the Smethwich of Birmingham archives other than admin minutes. There appears to be no other way to resolve his case other than by the purchase of a death certificate. I feel he should be placed into the partially accounted category
