Henry Frederick BUCKETT - the Statutry Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 11.45 a.m. on August 22nd 1931 at the Military Hospital at Edinburgh (at the Castle maybe - it's not the best scan). Death due to heart failure, toxic myocarditis (6 weeks), chronic appendicitis ( 2 years) He died while under anaesthetic. His Rank or profession is Aerial (?) Rigger, R.A.F. (again, not the clearest scan, but that's what it looks like).
Gilbert Ernest Ogilvie BROWNE - the accident was reported in the Bedfordshire Times and Independent of October 2nd 1931 and it records that Browne and P/O John Joseph Archer Ellison who was also injured in the crash were removed to the County Hospital. The car had collided with a stationary lorry.
The driver of the car, which was owned by Ellison, was F/O Peter R. May, who was unhurt. Browne, who suffered head injuries and remained unconscious, died in hospital at 7.40 a.m. the next morning of his injuries.
Browne was born on May 5th 1911 at Aguilas in Murcia, Spain.
May was summoned in December 1931 for driving a car without a licence, having had it suspended for a year. He was fined £3.
