I think like most of us, my bookshelves are positively groaning with his books. An author of high repute, he will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

    Sad news.

I've just popped into the library (well, the room where all my books are...) to check something in "Another Kind of Courage" and I took a moment to be grateful for all his hard work. As mentioned above, he'll be sorely missed.

    Regards

That is a shame he was a gentleman of the old school, my thoughts are with Heather and his family. RIP

I first met Norman in the early 80s and it's a few years ago now since I was last in touch with him. Apart from his nagging "just stop... get it published" I found him very generous with his encouragement, advice and research materials.

Norman’s books provided an essential foundation for my research. That his many books will provide that same foundation for countless others is a wonderful legacy. Rest In Peace, Norman

Sad news indeed. Like many, I have a number of his books on the shelf, and exchanged several e-mails with him over the years.

Like Rob's experience, his books also formed the basis of my early research.

    May he rest in peace.
