    I am going back to some I marked for further research..


    Can someone please look up the following 2 1936 Ancestry Family Trees


    1) THIRLWELL Thomas Gordon 568454 Possible Aircraft Apprentice
    Exact Date ??

    Died during April 1936
    Newcastle Evening Chronicle - Monday 27 April 1936

    THIRLWELL— Bowness-on-Solway died Mary’s RAF Hospital Halton Aylesbury aged 17 Gordon dearly
    loved of Thomas and Susan Thirlwell late Alston Interment at Bowness-on-Solway Tuesday

    Says Died Kent - Can't find a BMD record for him
    Exact Date ? Cause Rank etc ?

    This is interesting as there is the following death in India
    BUT wrong year - So I assume someone else ?

    1) THIRLWELL Thomas Gordon 568454 - struggling with Thirlwell. Nothing on any family trees on ancestry.

    2) Airman GATES Edward Albert 346702

    For the Kent one, he was born in 1890, and had served in the R.A.S.C., Service No. T/29622. Died December 5th 1936 at Dymchurch.

    For the India one, FMP has the entry in the 'British India Office Deaths & Burials' list, which has the following:

    June 26th 1937 Albert Edward Gates, aged 35, 3590328 R.Q.M.S. 2nd Border Regt, death due to heatstroke.

    Not sure how helpful that is...
