The connection to V7548 in the case of the air raid on Waddington is erroneous, one of a large number of such links that exist.
I have removed this one.

Killed during an air raid on RAF Waddington. The NAAFI building received a direct hit, killing the manageress (Constance Raven) and six of her staff. A memorial exists on the rebuilt NAAFI building at RAF Waddington, which is named Raven's Club in Constance Raven's memory.

Died in Motorcyle Accident. L/A/C Dennis John Clarke said that he was riding a motor-cycle in Cranfield Road, Marston. Gates came on in front of him and gave what he thought was a wave on signal. A lorry was approaching five or six hundred yards away. There was a dangerous S bend and he did not try to overtake Gates, who appeared to hit the side of the lorry...he said he and Gates were not racing. Recording a verdict of accidental death, the Coroner said it seemed clear that the speed of the motor-cycles was too fast to enable them to negotiate the corner safely. It was also clear that the lorry was on its proper side of the road and that the accident was not the fault of the driver.

A letter from Wing Commander Caskill of No. 17 Balloon Centre to his father, which records that he died at Beverley Road Hospital, Hull, as a result of injuries he sustained in a recent enemy attack on the town. Hull was bombed on ths nighst of 7/8 and 8/9 May 1941.

THOMAS, Francis John - AC2c - 970416 - RAF - 913 Balloon Sqdn.
Bells Hill Burial Ground, Hertfordshire.
Died in Motorcycle Accident. Leading Aircraftman Henry Victor Caren, aged 24, and A/C Francis John Thomas, aged 22, who died from injuries received when a motor-cycle on whichthey were travelling in Stratford Road, Hockley Heath, collided head-on with a motor-van. The van turned over and the motor-cycle burst into flames.
