Hi.
Over 200 Czechs arrived at Innsworth Lane in late July 1940. Can anyone please tell me if Innsworth Lane, was in fact RAF Innsworth, the non flying station?
TIA

Researching R.A.F. personnel from the North East of England
Hello All,
In 1954 No. 5 Personnel Despatch Unit arrived, charged with the administration and processing of personnel selected for overseas service.
Also in 1954 SAC P W Davies arrived. He was processed and despatched to the Canal Zone of Egypt (ultimately he ended up in Cyrenaica for tha last 18 months of his National Service.) So you can see how important the place is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We might not know - but we might know who does!
