    Default F/O David Alexander Houston WALKER - No.44 Squadron - DFC

    WALKER, David Alexander Houston, F/O (132168, RAFVR*) - No.44 Squadron - Distinguished Flying Cross - awarded as per London Gazette dated 14 September 1943. Born 13 May 1921 in Kitsyth, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Airman 946201, commissioned 1 September 1942. Possibly died in Spain. Air Ministry Bulletin 11416 has citation.

    Flying Officer Walker has displayed great keenness and devotion to duty throughout two tours of operations. As squadron signals leader he has completed his tasks in an exemplary manner and has been an extremely capable instructor to all new aircrews.
