    Paul

I'm struggling with the first two and the last one, but I did find Davies.

285841 Alfred Wynn DAVIES - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Dundee War Hospital (another entry has The War Hospital, Dundee, Angus).

After a bit of a struggle, the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records him as Alfred Winn Davis, which confused matters, and records that he died at 1.30 p.m. due to asthma, bronchitis and heart failure.

    Hi Paul

    Corporal George SNELL 314912

There is a casualty card here that seems to be the right man, although his number is given as 238815

That leads to his previous Navy service record here - although not a cause of death.

'314912 Snell' appears on 2 cards in AIR 78, one for G Snell and one for George Snell. It's curious that the RAF casualty card would reference his old Navy number.

EDIT: "He died on the 18th of November 1918 after contracting influenza and double pneumonia at Wold House auxiliary Red Cross Hospital, near Diffield"
