GRAHAM, Alan Kenneth Thomas, P/O (52886) - No. 10 Squadron - Distinguished Flying Cross - awarded as per London Gazette dated 10 December 1943. Born 1909. Airman 560142, commissioned 12 July 1943. Resigned commission on account of ill-health, 16 December 1944. Died 22 October 1949 in London. Was he also in No.62 Squadron ? (Ancestry, Find a Grave). Citation in AMB 12236.

Pilot Officer Graham has participated in sorties both in the Middle East and European theatres of war. An outstanding bomb aimer. He has consistently set a high standard of efficiency and unswerving devotion to duty. In August 1943 he was detailed for an attack on Hamburg and, despite appalling weather which made identification of the target extremely difficult, the attack was pressed home and the mission completed successfully.
