    Hi,

    Looking to ID a Whitley that made forced landing at RAF East Wretham October 11th 1940.

    Any pointers welcome.

    The only Whitley that didnt return that night was P4150/G. The ORB shows it force landing at Harpham and written off

    Can you check that serial please - it doesn't exist.

    The 58 Sqn Whitley that force-landed at Harpham, on 15 October 1940, was T4150, returning from Stettin.

    T4150 is correct but the ORB for that date shows it as P4150. I agree that serial doesnt exist, whoever typed out that original report way back in 1943 must have got it wrong
