Hi All,
Iím looking for the entry in the above book regarding the loss of Kitty Hawk FX792 of 112 Sqn flown by 2 Lt D A H Clark SAAF on 3 June 1944 by ground fire while attacking German troops pulling back from the Gustav Line south of Rome to the Gothic Line north of Rome.
The pilot was able to bail out and after a few days of adventure in the Italian countryside was able to get back to Allied Lines four days later.

Cheers,

John.
