    CANADA
    ELWELL, Benjamin - Lac - 540099 - RAF.
    Kingston (Cataraqui) Cemetery, Ontario, Canada.
    Death caused by drowning. Where and how ?

    BECKETT, Herbert Walter - AC1c - 930751 - RAFVR - 928 Balloon Sqdn.
    Ipswich Old Cemetery, Suffolk.
    accidentally killed on coming into contact with landmine on beach near Site 2

    LYON, Horace John - F/Lt- 37975 - RAF.
    Bicester Cemetery, Oxfordshire.
    Found dead on the airfield having been killed in an Airscrew accident at approximately 07:00 hours.

    MILNER, Arthur - AC1c - 1204927 - RAFVR - 224 Sqdn.
    Barnard Castle ( St.Mary) Church Cemetery, Durham.
    Killed whilst on sentry duty by the accidental discharge of a rifle.

    NICHOLAS, Cyril - Lac - 643078 - RAF.
    Penzance (Paul) Cemetery, Cornwall.
    While on medical leave pending a medical discharge he died at home in Newlyn of Pulmonary tuberculosis.

    POWELL, Emlyn Fred - Sgt - 550458 - RAF - 80 Wing.
    Croxden (St.Giles) Churchyard, Staffordshire.
    Died in a motor cycle collision whilst acting as a despatch rider. Accident occurred on Cemetery Hill, Braintree, Essex. Reported in Essex Newsman 21.6.41 (via Glenda Godfrey).

    Hawarden (St.Deiniol) Churchyard, Flintshire.
    Spitfire 1a - L1088 - 57 OTU.

    GREENAWAY, Anthony Maurice - Sgt - 553190 - RAF.
    REED, Henry George Albert - F/Sgt - 742647 - RAFVR
    These two airmen rest at Cottesmore (St.Nicholas) Churchyard Extension, Rutland.
    They were crew of Hampden I - P2088 - 14 OTU.

    These two airmen rest at Exeter Higher Cemetery, Devon.
    They three airmen were crew of Beaufort I - L9809 - 3 OTU.

    ITTNER, Heinz - GAF.
    KEUL, Heinz - GAF.
    KOESTER, Franz - GAF.
    PORADA, Wolfgang - GAF.

    He-111 H-2 6N+CH of 1/KGr.100, shot down on a raid on the Gloster works, and crashed at Home Farm, Maiden Bradley, Wilts. Berwig's body was not discovered until March 11th 1944.

    Long Point, Amherst Island, Ontario. Took leave with an unidentified friend, sank in eight feet of water and drowned. Media reports have him from Birmingham, married and had only been in Canada a short time.
    "It was stated that Elwell had spent four months in France with the RAF before coming to Canada and was in the evacuation at Dunkerque"

    He was attached to CAS Ottawa and his accident occurred at 16:20 Hours
