This one is interesting with regard to the aircraft involved.
The relevant Air-Britain serials book records AK383 as being with 5 Sqn SAAF, and force-landing with engine failure in the desert 23.5.42
The 250 Sqn ORB reports P/O Munro's aircraft as "383"
Looking at the AM78 card for AK383, it is shown as FB(E) Missing 20.6.41. But this has been crossed out and annotated "Return stated AM483". AK383 is finally shown as SOC on 30.5.42 with 5 Sqn SAAF, which fits with the Air-Britain serials book entry.
AM483 was lost with Station Flight Gaza when it force-landed S of Rafa on 26.10.41. Its AM78 card records it as SOC on 30.10.41. So another dead end.
However, a look at the AM78 for AM383 provides the answer. This aircraft is shown as FB(E) Missing on 20.6.41, ie a duplicate of the original entry on AK383's card.
I therefore conclude that it was AM383 that was P/O Munro's aircraft.
Comments very welcome - please feel free to disagree!

This was W9131, with AIR81/6985 listing the wrong serial. I have amended the entries for the two aircraft to show the correct links:

    Hi,
From the 250 Sqdn ORB for the 17/18/06/41 it has the following -
    17/06/41
    Sgt.SUMNER - 401
    Sgt MORTON - 399
    P/o. MUNRO - 383
    Time up 14.45
    Time Down 17.00
These three aircraft were flown again later the same day -
    F/O.WOLSEY 401
    F/O.MONTIETH 399
    P/O.KENT 383
    Time up 18.25
    Time Down 20.20
    Then on the 18/06/41
    F/O.WOLSEY 401
    Then
    Sgt. SUMNER 403
    Sgt. MORTON 399
    P/O. MUNRO 383
    Time up 05.50
    They didn't return.
Altered are commemorated in the CWGC database.
All the aircraft serials are recorded as being in the "AK" series. But this may well be an incorrect entry by staff . One source has AK383, 403 and 412.

Also this day in the UK 1 FPP lost AH765.

    AB's AA100-AZ999 has
AK383 - 5 SAAF Forcelanded with engine failure in desert 23.5.42.
    AK399 - 2 SAAF Missing 19.6.41.
    AK403 - 250 Missing from sweetheart ElAdem, 18.6.41
    AK412 - 250 Shot down by Bf109 near Sollum 18.6.41

AK412 confirmed in the ORB F/O.Hamlyn reported as missing 18.6.41.
    See:AIR 81/7036.- Flying Officer J Hamlyn: safe, previously reported missing; Tomahawk AK412, 250 Squadron, 18 June 1941.

Could it be possible that the recovery team recovered AK383 and following repairs was passed to 5 SAAF ?

Sorry Alex, but I'm going to have to disagree with the first sentence. Only the first aircraft on any particular day is recorded as being "AK". All the other aircraft are just referred to by the digits.

Hi Andy, Yes I agree , but the "AK" is placed as you say for the first on the page with all below only gives the number which (to me) suggests that all following were also "AK"'s.
All is now resolved and agreed(I believe) that the MUNRO Tomahawk was AM383.
    All the best,
    Alex
