    Hi,

Would anyone happen to know the route taken by No.1,3 and 4 Group against Turin on this night?

    TIA

According to Roger Anthoine in Infringing Neutrality the usual turning point in 1941 was the French city of St Julien, quite close to the border and Lake Geneva. On 10/11 September 1941 7 Aircraft reported they flew over Geneva and the maps for the 4 Group aircraft were marked as crossing the Eastern end of Lake Geneva.
1 Group 10 Wellington sent, 8 attacked Turin, 1 attacked searchlights at Gravelines
3 Group 38 Wellington sent, 28 attacked Turin, 1 attack believed Vlissingen, 1 attack believed Genoa, 1 jettisoned bombs
3 Group 13 Stirling sent, 10 attacked Turin
4 Group 8 Wellington sent, all attacked Turin
4 Group 7 Halifax sent, all attacked Turin

Wellington R1699 came down near Dijon but then again W5576 is reported down off Denmark
