Hi everyone,
I would like also to add my BIG THANKS to Ross and Chris for their nice work and enthusiasm!

Hi Ross
I note the 'new' RAF Commands Forum is a year old today - hard to believe it has flown so fast. Let me take this opportunity to thank you for all your work - and patience with spam and spammers (and a few others here and there!) - in providing this medium to us all. Without it, research would be that much more difficult. Thanks and well done!
Steve
PS. Let's not to forget Dakota's assistance, too!

The folks on this Forum have helped me no end over the years and I would like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to one and all. Happy birthday and well done Ross.
Please add my thanks and congratulations to your growing list of accolades.
Keep up the good work. The world is a better place when people can communicate, so please never underestimate the benefit a forum like thus can have towards establishing the truth about 'what happened', whether it is for a relative of someone lost or simply adding accuracy to the history of a momentous time in history.

One year, how time flies. Without this site research would be most difficult.
Many thanks and congratulations.

Thanks people,
You are making me blush!
I had honestly forgot that it was a year ago I was ready to make this board live after a period of off line testing.
Now it contains about 3,100 threads made up of almost 18,000 posts.
The old board (2001 -2007)was retired at 13,493 threads, all of which are archived and amount to almost 68 Meg of online storage.
All advert free and search engine available.
Just a shame that the posts on the very first board (1999-2001) have been lost into cyberspace. I deeply regret not taking the plunge to fund storage for this early board.
Thanks for all your support.
Regards
Ross

Thanks for your kind words but I am only a minor character in this grande performance. The star of the show is undoubtedly Ross., who I might add as a navigator, took great pleasure in telling pilots where to go!
I'd like to take this opportunity to personnaly thank Ross for his trmendous effort and hard work. It has been most difficult at times escpecially with spammers, but Ross has prevailed. I can truthfully say I've never been associated with a more professional site.
I will continue to support it as much as I can.
Ross you can tell me where to go any time (-:
Cheers...Chris
