    Hi Henk,

I have Elliott's unit as No 9 AOS, Penrhos, and surmise from his death registration district that he died in RAF Hospital, Cosford. His gravestone states "who died from injuries received in flying accident", so would be interested to know if there is a 9 AOS accident in the days prior to his death?

    Cheers,

    Tom

I have a Corporal Helen Particia Martin, WAAF recorded as died 25.12.1941 but no ATS casualty of that name or date so he probably confused the service also.

Cheers Malcolm, that certainly could fit. I'll try and sneak a look at the ORB next time I'm in Kew, see if I can confirm that he was on board.
