    Hi Henk
From Bloody Shambles Vol 2,Chris Shores, Brian Cull and Yasuho Izawa the fate of Anderson is not known with certainty. 10 Hurricanes were ordered to attack Kalidjati airfield on 4/3/42. Anderson was one of 4 detailed to remain as top cover whilst 6 attacked the airfield. Eventually the 4 went down to add to the attack they were themselves attacked by Japanese fighters but pulled out and ,as instructed, continued to Andir as their new base. Anderson didn't appear. the book records that he was taken prisoner but died in captivity 2 days later i.e 6/3/42, where he was captured and died, and how he came down is not known
    Regards
    Dick

Thanks Dick; will add this to my files. Hurricanefile offers no match to an a/c serial.
    Regards,
    Henk.
