    Hi Henk
Barltrop,20, and Jenner,30, registered at Wokingham, Berkshire, the right area for Theale so it might place them on DE920
CWGC has an Ethel Glover,19, and she is on the register age 19, at Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, the right area for Tempsford
I found 2 Sidney Thompson's (no other initial). One aged 49, registered at Scunthorpe, the other, age 35(closer to CWGC) registered in York. York is a puzzle as it was split up into several areas now in E Yorkshire and many just N of the River Humber. Geographically these cover Brough, just W of Hull, but it is not mentioned by name.
    Rogers didn't come up
    Regards
    Dick

There is a 38 year old Sydney James Thompson registered sometime in 1942 in Hillhead district, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

I recalled that we had a Hillhead casualty in earlier in 1942 that we thought might be connected to the Radar station there:

    Henk,

    Re - Master III - W8991

Michael Hurst's (of the Lake District book fame) mentioned this landed vertually intact and the crew were ok.

i will check on the Moth at Brough and get back to you, regards Rich

Tiger Moth T7843 collided with Tiger Moth T5670 while coming into land at Brough. Ive no info to say the name or fate of the pilot/s.

Master W8991, As I thought, Hurst doesn't identify the aircraft but the date and location is the same. pilot "L R Disney" and "No injuries".
