Sorry Rich, that was September last year. Can't remember why I asked for Wroot. Checked my files and the only "Wroot case" in my files was Wellington V3800 of 18 OTU, covered by Chorley in his Vol. 7 page 237.

P/O (Pilot/Instr.) Edgar S. JENNER - their respective Graves Registration Report Forms list their unit as 26 E.F.T.S., linking them to Tiger Moth II DE320.
AC1 Sydney J. THOMPSON - 1515801 - the Eastbourne Gazette of August 5th 1942 carried the following announcement:
THOMPSON - on August 1st, suddenly at Glasgow, A/C1 Sydney James Thompson, R.A.F., beloved husband of Biddy, and father of David and Judy, of 28, Meads Street, and 47, Longland Road, Eastbourne.

Kenneth Taylor 1087842 , attached to Number 1 PD , was taken seriously ill whilst in transit and was admitted to the St. Anne De Belleville hospital where he died the same day of acute nephritis
