    Hi Gents,

    F1180

    Confirms collision of K4261 and T6288 (Cat B)

    Trout killed as pilot of K4261 + 1 other fatality on this aircraft.

    Crew of T6288 only injured.

    AC2 Thomas G. COONAN - 1037701 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Royal Air Force Hospital, Kirkham, Lancs.

    P/O (Pilot) Trevor MASON - 125543 - the Graves Registration Report Form lists his unit as 42 O.T.U. Could he be connected with Whitley Z9134 from the previous day:

    John Walter Sidell 1286216 , attached to 16 MU , was killed in a cycling accident in Montgomery , his remains being removed to Welshpool Mortuary

    Thomas Coonan ( there is no GERARD ) in his records 1037701 | attached to Number 10 SoTT | was dangerously injured in a motorcycle accident on Preston New Road, Kirkham on 13 November, dying of his injuries in RAF hospital Kirkham
