What were the places of death registration for:

A - Died on active service:
Sgt James R. DUTHIE - 532049;
AC2 Fred HEMMINGS - 1646607, and
Sgt Harry ROSCOE - 551471.

B - Not found in Flight archives:
LAC (Elec) Thomas MOORE - 756552 - 78 Sqn (Linton-on-Ouse, Yorkshire), and
AC2 Ronald D. TAYLOR - 1711793.

C - Proposed aircraft loss:
Hector I - K9752 - 4 GTS - crashed in forced landing Shilton, Oxfordshire.

May add the following aircraft losses for 18th November 1942:

Defiant I - AA632 - 286 Sqn - flew into ground Llansamlet, 3 miles NE of Swansea, Glamorganshire.
Master III - W8995 - 16 (P)SFTS - crashed on approach Tollerton (already as a casualty on this aircraft: LAC [Pilot u/t] J.W. OPUCHUK - PAF 794488).

Malcolm,
Don't think that DUTHIE may have been on the Defiant; he is listed as having "DIED" on active service. Killed in a flying accident was listed as "KOAS" (Killed on active service).

Alec Brew recorded Flt Sgt R. Muirhead (RCAF) and Sgt Wilde (Army) as the crew for AA632 in the Defiant File. Both were injured.

Opuchuk was recorded as the only casualty from W8995, his name was recorded as Opuehlik in the ORB.
