Thanks AlanW; the registrations at Wigton may have been on the Hudson N7226 of 1 (C)OTU.
    Regards,
    Henk.

Hi Henk, not so sure about that, 1(C) OTU lost two Hudsons on this day. The one at Beckfoot and another at Silloth itself, it may be that both locations come under Wigton district.
Interestingly, i've just found Sgt C.Ring, pilot, and Sgt D.W. Sanderson both killed 13/01/43, both registered Wigton, Ring buried Silloth, may be a connection.

    Hi Ross,
Could J.W.Sawerson be a typo for D.W. Sanderson, Sawerson not on CWGC.

Lambert is W A T Lambert, missing one initial there, and he is DOAS in April 8th magazine.

Hayward is in the same KOAS list as the other two men, Sgt. W. J. Hay ward; but there is a phantom space in the middle of his surname, hence not found on search.

    Hi Henk,

Found two misfiled F1180s one is an alternative for N7226 and the other is a new one for T9322

The alternative N7226 has more detail than the rather blank card in the main reel.
    N7226
    3 killed 1 injured
Pilot Sgt C Ring - Killed
A/c crashed and caught fire shortly after take off

    T9322
    4 killed 0 injured
    Pilot P/O G J T Snoxell - Killed
    Engine failed on take off

On balance I would go with the pilots given and numbers of those killed on these alternative cards rather than the 4 previously listed for N7226

    Regards
    Ross

    Ross,
    Sofar I had on file:
N7226 - besides SNOXELL - and all three registered at Wigton, Cumbria:
Sgt (Nav) Gregor S. McGREGOR - 1388869, and
    Sgt (WOp/Ag) Walter J. HAYWARD - 1211260.
    T9322 - besides RING:
    Sgt (Pilot) Douglas W. SANDERSON - 942817;
    F/Sgt (Nav/Ba) Franklin C. ZURBRIGG - RCAF R/116656 (confirmed by Allison on T9322), and
    W/OČ (WOp/Ag) Joseph L.G. BELANGER - RCAF R/73758 (confirmed by Allison on T9322).

What were the places of death registration for Sanderson, Zurbrigg and Belanger ?

    Regards,
    Henk.
