    Thanks for doing that Terry, much appreciated.

    Still looking for a squadron affiliation that might connect him with fighter affiliation duties in November 1943.

    Hi All,

    An old thread but just thought those interested might like to know;

    F/LT Norman Ernest Harold Virgin was killed in a road accident when the car in which he was a passenger swerved into the path of a bus on 13th Nov 1945,
    the accident happened on the Barnstaple-Brounton road and F/Lt Alan Glyn Jefferson (Driver) was also killed. F/Lt Richard Dunn Luckwell was injured. I have news
    clippings of anyone need further info, just email me.

    I am interested to know where the `F/Lt Virgin` as being the Spitfire pilot who saw the Beaufighter crash came from? Was it in the A.F.D.U. ORB? If so and someone
    has access to this then the initials and service number of F/Lt Virgin might be further back in the ORB as Posted IN/OUT entry?

    Regards
    Dave.
