Hi all, I would like to ask if anyone knows what the FADK stands for?
The context - duty written for a Liberator in the Watch Log: "Fighter Affilliation – the briefing made by OC of FADK".

    TIA

I think that the term "Fighter Affiliation" has got a lot to do with correctly interpreting this achrynom, but I am a bit too timid to be bold in this instance!

David I fully agree with you! I am pretty sure it will be Fighter Affiliation Dxxxx Kxxxx, the D may stand for the Development for example, but I am totally puzzled by the last ford starting K.
The only unit I am aware of is Coastal Command Fighter Affiliation Training Unit which does not fit as it was formed on 1.9.45.

Malcolm, this is from the 311 Sq Watch Log, i.e. Tain and the date is 29.10.1944.
