The visitor book for RAF Miranshah was first started in December 1930, and the book was maintained for nearly 30 years under the ownership of the Pakistani Air Force. The RAF Miranshah visitor book ultimately ended up in the collection of late AVM S A Yusuf of the PAF. His son Omar Yusuf managed to find the book and it is on its way for preservation. The visitor book is a treasure trove of visitor information. A combination of name entries and sometimes signatures, its a ‘whos-who’ of the many important personalities that made up the RAF, IAF and even the Indian Politics of that time.
