Robert Walker’s grandfather, Sgt Leslie William Hickman of the RAAF served with 261 Squadron – which was based in Ceylon and India during the 1942-1943 Period. His grandfather preserved several photographs of the Hurricanes of the Squadron that Rob has kindly shared with our site.
